American Seed Pepper Poblano Annual Vegetable Seeds Full Sun

Grow flavorful poblano peppers with American Seed Poblano Pepper Seeds. This annual vegetable grows best in full sun and warm weather. Start seeds indoors 8–12 weeks before the last expected frost date for optimal results. Use a heat mat and light to help seedlings grow strong. These easy plants will reward you with lots of tasty peppers—great for cooking, grilling, or adding mild heat to your garden harvest.

• Soak the seeds in a glass of water overnight. Then, use a light and well-drained soil medium to fill seed trays or pots—or use peat pellets. Next, sow 3 or 4 seeds in each cell or pot and cover them with 1/4 inch of soil. Moisten the soil and cover the trays or pots with plastic wrap or a lid. Keep the soil moist and warm until the seeds sprout, which can take 16 to 20 days. Once the seeds germinate, remove the cover and place the trays or pots in a sunny location or under a grow light. As the seedlings grow larger, transplant them into larger pots or flats. Harden them off to the outdoors and transplant them into the garden after the last frost.
